Major-Injury Shasta County Motorcycle Crash on Gas Point Road
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. (April 26, 2021) — A Cottonwood motorcycle accident happened Monday morning on Gas Point Road near Frances Street.
The California Highway Patrol reports the crash involving the motorcyclist and a truck happened about 7:34 a.m. on April 26th in front of North Cottonwood School.
Shasta County Cal Fire paramedics arrived at the scene where they located the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries.
They transported the rider to a hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, it’s unknown if anyone else suffered injuries in the Cottonwood motorcycle accident.
The driver in the truck stopped and is cooperating with the investigation. Anderson Tow removed the damaged street bike, but the CHP report did not say the make and model of the vehicle.
Investigators are seeking to determine fault for the Cottonwood motorcycle accident. Witnesses may contact the CHP’s Shasta County station.
