1 Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into a Home on Workman Avenue Saturday
Covina, CA (October 11, 2020) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Workman Avenue Saturday, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.
Our sources indicated officers attempted to stop a black Tesla Model 3 on suspicion of driving recklessly on the westbound 10 Freeway Saturday evening. The motorist apparently failed to yield, and continued driving.
According to the news article, the suspect vehicle exited on Azusa Avenue and entered a parking lot near North Garvey Avenue.
Officers reportedly followed the vehicle north on Azusa. The pursuit came to an end when the Tesla turned right onto Workman Avenue. At about the same time, the Tesla veered off the roadway and plowed into a residential garage.
Major Car Accident in Covina, October 10
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found a passenger with injuries in the Tesla. Authorities mentioned the unidentified suffered moderate injuries as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Tesla reportedly ran away from the site. The identity of the hit-and-run suspect and their location at this time remained undisclosed.
Further investigation on the car accident in Covina is underway.
