Coy Zimmerman, 10; and Charlie Ledezma, 31, Badly Injured in Kingsburg Car Crash
KINGSBURG, CA (October 7, 2020) – A car crash along Highway 99 badly injured Coy Zimmerman and Charlie Ledezma in Kingsburg on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, officers received a call about the traffic collision at around 6:34 a.m.
CHP said Chevrolet pickup truck and a Dodge Charger collided for an unknown reason on northbound Highway 99. The two cars crashed just south of Bethel Avenue.

Both vehicles came to a stop on the right hand shoulder as a result of the accident. The pickup truck was pulling a trailer when the wreck occurred.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics immediately responded to the scene following the incident. They found two people who suffered moderate injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel then transported both patients to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. CHP identified them as 20-year-old Coy Zimmerman and 31-year-old Charlie Ledezma.
Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the cause of the car crash.
