Coyote Bicycle Accident Hale Avenue and Miramonte Avenue

Bicycle Rider Seriously Injured in Coyote Crash Near Hale and Miramonte Avenues

COYOTE, CA (July 1, 2021) – A bicycle rider was seriously injured after a crash near Hale Avenue and Miramonte Avenue in Coyote.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Wednesday morning. According to CHP, officers reported the collision at about 7:26 a.m.

The incident happened on June 30 when a vehicle struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in the Coyote community. The two collided near the intersection of Hale Avenue and Miramonte Avenue.

Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near a mushroom farm. They found the cyclist hurt and who lost their consciousness as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Hale and Miramonte avenues to shut down following the collision. The cause of the Coyote bicycle crash is still under investigation.
