1 Killed, 3 Injured in Lancaster Crash at 10th Street West and Avenue H-12
LANCASTER, Calif. (February 22, 2021) – Craig Smith, 66, of Lancaster, died and others were injured in a collision at 10th Street West and Avenue H-12 in Lancaster.
The fatal Lancaster crash happened about 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20th, according to an article published by My News LA,
A driver reportedly made a U-turn into the path of another vehicle. That’s when the two vehicles collided on 10th Street West at the intersection of Avenue H-12.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and the man who made the U-turn died at the scene. Meanwhile, his three passengers were injured when the vehicle’ was broadsided.
The passengers, described only as a man and two women, were treated for the unspecified injuries. However, the other motorist involved did not report any injuries.
Police officials closed down 10th Street and Avenue H-12 to investigate the collision.
The cause of the fatal collision is still under investigation.
