Bicycle Rider Injured in Crescent City Accident on Inyo Street
CRESCENT CITY, CA (May 28, 2021) – A bicycle rider was injured after an accident on Inyo Street in Crescent City.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the collision occurred on Friday evening. Officers reported the crash shortly before 6 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the bicyclist for an unknown reason in Crescent City. The driver collided with the bicycle rider in the 1400 block of Inyo Street.
Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle Near Seawood West
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Seawood West. They attended to the cyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the crash. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the bicyclist. Officers forced Inyo Street to shut down following the bicycle accident.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Crescent City collision.
