Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle on Elk Valley Road
CRESCENT CITY (July 20, 2018) – On July 19, Thursday, a bicycle accident occurred on Elk Valley Road.
The collision happened at about 3:30 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a woman riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle in the 100 block of Elk Valley Road. Officials did not immediately disclose the condition of the bicyclist after the incident.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned the motorist involved was a female in a white Chevrolet Tracker. The name of that woman, and her whereabouts after the crash remained unknown at this time.
The detectives handling the case continue to determine precisely how and why the Chevrolet hit the bicyclist. Further investigation is underway.
