Major Injury Car Crash at Elk Valley Road and Cooke Street Saturday
Crescent City, CA (January 23, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic collision that occurred in the area of Elk Valley Road and Cooke Street Saturday evening.
CHP logged the car crash at about 8:15 p.m.
Per accident dispatch, two vehicles collided at the Crescent City intersection. Officials briefly described the automobiles found at the scene as a white Dodge Journey and a Ford Escape.
The force from the impact reportedly caused the Ford to careen off the roadway at approximately 80 feet. Authorities mentioned the Ford sustained major front-end damage as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, the condition of the Dodge following the incident remained unknown.
At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Car Accident in Crescent City, January 23
Responding paramedics rendered aid to possible victims. After the evaluation, medical personnel confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries in the wreck. The name of the patient and their age have not been revealed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at thsi time to determine several factors surrounding the car accident in Crescent City.
