
CRESCENT CITY, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash on the northbound Highway 101 in the Crescent City area happened Thursday morning near Bank Road and Smith River.
The collision occurred about 6:02 a.m. on Feb. 23rd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The drivers of a silver Suburban and a Chevrolet Camaro were involved. One of the vehicles wound up in a ditch next to the roadway. The Camaro sustained major right front damage and was missing a wheel and the Suburban had front-end damage, but was on all four wheels after the crash.
Paramedics responded and transported both injured drivers to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries, but there were no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Crescent City crash on Highway 101.
