Pedestrian Hit by Car in Crescent City Tuesday
CRESCENT CITY, Del Norte County (July 24, 2018) – A traffic accident involving a pedestrian occurred along Northcrest Drive on Tuesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident took place shortly before 3:30 p.m., near Madison Avenue.
CHP received a call about a pedestrian who for an unknown reason was struck by a vehicle in the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive.

Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the pedestrian who might have suffered injuries as a result of the crash. Their name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the report log did not mention whether or not the driver of the car involved stopped and cooperated with the officers after hitting the victim.
The southbound lanes of Northcrest Drive were blocked following the incident. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
