Pedestrian Injured in Crescent City Hit-and-Run at Parkway and Sandman
CRESCENT CITY, CA (May 31, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Parkway Drive and Sandman Road in Crescent City.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Monday evening. Officers reported the incident at about 6:08 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver involved hit her at the intersection of Parkway Drive and Sandman Road in Crescent City.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the victim left wounded in the roadway as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries she sustained in the crash. Officials did not disclose her name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the area. They described the car as a pickup truck.
Officers closed the intersection of Parkway and Sandman following the Crescent City hit-and-run crash. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
