CRESTLINE, California (March 28, 2016) – An elderly woman was killed in a house fire on Sunday afternoon in the area of South Village Lane and Crest Forest Drive, according to San Bernardino Sun. (map)
The fire was reported just before 3 p.m.
As per the article, a statement released by San Bernardino County Fire Department said firefighters responded and found a two-story home fully engulfed in flames and smoke.
Officers were able to extinguished the fire about half an hour and located an elderly female who had died in the incident. Her name has not been yet released.
The damage totals are estimated at $200,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
