Pedestrian Injured in Crestline Hit-and-Run at Spruce Drive and Waters Drive
CRESTLINE, CA (August 31, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Spruce Drive and Waters Drive in Crestline.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Tuesday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at around 7:51 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason in Crestline. The driver hit her at the intersection of Spruce Drive and Waters Drive.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 138. They found the victim hurt as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries she sustained in the collision. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and then fled the area. Officers forced a portion of Spruce and Waters drives to close following the accident.
The cause of the Crestline hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
