Cristina Moreno-Gonzalez Suspect in Fatal Collision at Coffee and Hageman Road
Bakersfield, CA (July 5, 2021) – On July 2, police arrested Cristina Moreno-Gonzalez in relation with a deadly traffic accident that occurred in the area of Coffee and Hageman Road.
The ABC23 News reported a man and his stepson were riding a motorcycle traveling in the streets of Bakersfield. When the rider drove into the intersection of Coffee and Hageman, they collided with an SUV with Cristina Moreno-Gonzalez at the wheel.
The unfortunate event took place on January 10 this year.
Juvenile Killed, 1 Critical in Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident
According to the article published online, the juvenile passenger on the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the 13-year-old boy dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the operator of the motorcycle escaped death with serious injuries. An ambulance rushed the man to a hospital, where he was place in a medically-induced coma.
Recent reports indicated police arrested Cristina Moreno-Gonzalez with charges of felony vehicle manslaughter with gross negligence; a traffic violation. The suspect apparently posted bail.
