Cristo Arnold Alvarez, 21, Killed in Crash on 580 Freeway
DATE OF COLLISION: Sunday, January 6th
January 12, 2019 – The motorcyclist killed last week after a traffic collision on the 580 Freeway near Grant Line Road has been identified as 21-year-old Cristo Arnold Alvarez, of Livermore.
According to Patch News, the accident occurred on January 6, Sunday, about 1:06 p.m., between the cities of Livermore and Tracy.
The California Highway Patrol said Alvarez was riding a motorcycle and splitting lanes on the freeway when for an unknown reason he lost control.

The motorcyclist then collided with an SUV near the Grant Line Road off-ramp. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
As per the article, authorities believed that the rider was possibly struck by another vehicle shortly after the initial crash.
Meanwhile, the exact cause of the incident remains under investigation.
