Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Interstate Highway 80 Sunday
CROCKETT, Ca (September 22, 2019) – A motorcycle rider died in a traffic accident on the Interstate Highway 80 Sunday evening, the CBS News reported.
Officials said the motorcyclist collided with a car on the eastbound lanes of the freeway just past the Pomona Street onramp. The impact caused the rider to be thrown over the side of Carquinez Bridge.

Shortly after 6:34 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location and immediately rendered aid to the motorcyclist. Our sources indicated paramedics sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the other motorist involved appeared unharmed after the crash.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
