Police Chase Ends in Traffic Collision on Carquinez Bridge Tuesday
Crockett, CA (November 25, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Carquinez Bridge Tuesday evening.
The KTVU News reported the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s deputies were chasing suspects in the streets of Crockett. When the pursuit reached the area near Pomona Street, the vehicle of the suspect collided with another vehicle.
Officials said the force from the impact caused both automobiles to burst into flames.
Shortly after 9 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Rescue teams worked extensively to extricate all parties trapped in the wreckage.
Bystander Injured in Crockett Car Accident, November 23
Our sources confirmed a bystander suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
According to the article published online, police took into custody three suspects. No immediate information was available on the arrested parties.
