CHP Fatal Crash Investigation in Crows Landing
CROWS LANDING, Calif. (July 16, 2021) — A Crows Landing fatal crash involving a farm tractor happened early Friday at Highway 33 and Easton Road.
UPDATE: Alberto Toscano, 60. of Newman, is identified as the tractor driver who died in the collision.
A driver in a white Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into the back of the green John Deere farm tractor about 5:39 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to find a Alberto Toscano dead at the crash scene.
Also, they found that one of the vehicles also damaged a power pole. Debris was all over the roadway. Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision, however, it remains under investigation.
