Teen Killed in Montclair Crash is Identified
MONTCLAIR, Calif. (April 14, 2021) — Crystal Morales, 18, of Ontario, died Friday in a collision at Moreno Street and North Benson Avenue in Montclair.
Additionally, the collision happened about 3:41 p.m. on April 9th, according to a press release by the Montclair Police Department. The drivers of a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck were involved. The two vehicles collided when the car turned north onto Benson Avenue as the pick-up truck headed westbound on Moreno Street.

Meanwhile, police officers rushed to the intersection of Moreno Street and N. Benson Avenue. The Montclair Fire Department arrived at the crash scene where they located Crystal Monseratt Martinez Morales suffering from severe injuries. Sadly, she died at the scene of the collision at 3:48 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner. Crystal Morales had been a passenger in the pickup truck.
Also, the Montclair Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating the cause of the crash and will determine fault.
