Fatal Pedestrian Collision in Culver City
CULVER CITY, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday afternoon at National Boulevard and Wesley Street in Culver City.
The traffic accident occurred at 4:26 p.m. on Sept. 30th, according to the Culver City Police Department.
Police officers responded and determined the driver of the vehicle was traveling on National Boulevard when they hit the pedestrian in the roadway.
The Culver City Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene to help the injured pedestrian and then transported him to a hospital. Unfortunately, the unidentified man later died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver was questioned by police as part of the investigation, police said.
Authorities closed down National Boulevard between Wesley Street and Eastham Drive for several hours to conduct the investigation.
