WHITTIER, Calif. (Jan. 21, 2025) — A Tesla Cybertruck was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on the 605 Freeway and wound up on the center median wall near Washington Boulevard in Whittier.
Several vehicles were involved in the collision at 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21st, in the southbound lanes of the 605 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were blocked due to the crash. The drivers of a white Toyota SUV, a white Chevrolet Astrovan were also involved.
A tow truck had to lift the Cybertruck off of the center divider wall where it became lodged following the collision.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help anyone injured, but there are no further details.
The Cybertruck crash on the 605 Freeway remains under investigation to determine fault.
