Fatal Traffic Collision Near Chino Airport
Chino, CA (June 20, 2022) – Cyril Gayo, a 21-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Flight Avenue.
The Champion News reported Gayo was operating a motorcycle traveling in the streets of Chino Friday morning. For reasons still unclear, the motorcyclist collided with a semi truck in the area east of Chino Airport and south of Merrill Avenue.
According to the article published online, the horrible crash took place around 5:17 a.m.
Rescue teams arrived at the location and immediately rendered aid to the man found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the rider sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the fatal victim as Cyril Gayo.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the big rig involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the deadly crash on Flight Avenue in Chino.
