Child Injured in Daggett Hit-and-Run Crash at Santa Fe Street and Sierra Way
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (April 29, 2021) – A child was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Santa Fe Street and Sierra Way in Daggett.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday evening. Officers reported the incident at about 7:17 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit her at the intersection of Santa Fe Street and Sierra Way in Daggett.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Daggett-Yermo Road. They found the 10-year-old girl left suffering from injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Barstow Community Hospital with complaint of pain and laceration to her arm. Officials did not disclose her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers later mentioned that the driver was at the crash site.
Authorities are still investigating the hit-and-run collision.
