Daisy Preciado ID’d as Driver Killed in Phelan Crash
PHELAN, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2018) — A Go Fund Me page has been established for Daisy Preciado who died in a violent, head-on crash Saturday on Phelan Road, just west of Mango Street in Phelan, according to the San Bernardino Coroner and news reports.
A westbound pickup truck collided with an eastbound SUV in a head-on collision.
The 12:30 p.m. crash, between a Chevy S10 pickup truck and a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC, left at least four others with minor to major injuries.
Preciado, who was driving he pickup truck, died at the scene about 12:50 p.m. Her husband who was a passenger in her pickup suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Also, a woman who was an occupant in the Mercedes SUV was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in serious condition. Three others suffered minor injuries and one of them was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Phelan Accident Investigation
A full investigation into what caused this collision is underway. Most likely one of the drivers veered into the path of the other driver and caused the collision.
