Fatal hit-and-run crash in west central Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (June 9, 2022) — Dale Black, 60, of Fresno, was killed in a hit-and-run crash at West Belmont Avenue and North Parkway Drive in west central Fresno.
The fatal crash happened around 1:45 a.m. early Monday morning on June 6th, according to the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner.
Fresno police officers located the victim lying in the eastbound lanes of West Belmont Avenue. Sadly, Dale Black suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
However, the suspect and vehicle had left the scene without stopping to help the man.
Finally, investigators are piecing together evidence in an effort to find the suspect.
