Deadly Sacramento Crash on West Elkhorn Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 8, 2020) – Dale Jardine, 33, of Citrus Heights, died a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on West Elkhorn Boulevard near Highway 99 in the Natomas area of Sacramento.
The fatal crash took place about 7:30 a.m. on July 1st, just north of the Natomas community. The collision involved two motorists and was roughly two miles east of Sacramento International Airport, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics responded and declared Jardine dead at the scene while the other person involved was treated for injuries. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified Jardine as the man who died.
Police closed down West Elkhorn Boulevard to investigate the crash.
