Dallas Kelly, 18, Injured in Calistoga Crash at Foothill and Petrified Forest
CALISTOGA (January 6, 2019) – A young driver was hospitalized after a traffic collision in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Petrified Forest Road Saturday evening, according to Napa Valley Register.
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Dallas Kelly, of Santa Rosa.
As per the article, police said Kelly was turning left when her Honda Civic was struck by a Chevrolet Cobalt at the intersection.
The Chevrolet was traveling east on Foothill Boulevard when its male driver went through a stop sign at Petrified Forest Road and hit the Honda.
Car Crash at Highway 128 and Petrified Forest Road
The accident took place on January 5 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Foothill Boulevard is also known as Highway 128.
Police affirmed that Kelly was immediately taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with injuries considered as non-life-threatening. Her condition at this time was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the motorist in the Cobalt sustained minor wounds when his airbag reportedly deployed in the wreck. His name remained unknown.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
