Driver Steps Out of Car, Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Highway 280
Daly City, CA (July 11, 2022) – One person died following a traffic crash that occurred on State Highway 1, the CBS News reported.
Our sources indicated a silver Nissan sedan careened off the roadway, and slammed into a wall along the freeway. After the accident, the driver of the Nissan got out of the car.
While standing in northbound lanes of the freeway, a gray SUV struck the driver and the wreckage. Officials believed at least one other vehicle also collided with the first two cars.

Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 5 a.m. According to the article published online, paramedics rushed the driver of the Nissan to a hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, the patient sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities only identified the fatal victim as a male in his 60s.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Highway 1 in Daly City.
