At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Junipero Serra Freeway Saturday
Daly City, CA (September 7, 2021) – A car crash that occurred on the Interstate 280 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated two vehicles collided in the southbound side of I-280, also known as Junipero Serra Freeway. Investigators said the incident involved a white Nissan, and a tan Ford truck.
The accident took place on September 4, Saturday.
Shortly after 1:37 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site–near Highway 1 in Daly City. First responders found at the scene at least one person with injuries. Paramedics immediately attended to the victim. At this time, the name of the injured party and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

The CHP log confirmed one motorist fled the scene before police arrived. Given that, detectives continue to work at this time to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
