
Motorcyclist Injured in Car Crash on I-280
DALY CITY, Calif. (August 22, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured Thursday in a car accident on the southbound Interstate 280 Freeway, just north of Westborough Boulevard in Daly City.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 8:05 a.m. on August 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The motorcyclist and a white Tesla collided due to unknown circumstances on the freeway. The rider went down near the right side and several other motorists stopped to help the person.
Firefighters responded and their truck blocked the Nos. 4 and 5 lanes of the I-80, the report said.
Meanwhile, two tow trucks removed the Harley Davidson motorcycle and the white Tesla.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the motorcycle accident on the 280 Freeway.
