Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident on Highway 1 in San Mateo County

DALY CITY, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2024) — A Daly City motorcycle accident happened Friday morning on the northbound Highway 1, just south of Serramonte Boulevard.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:39 a.m. on Jan. 5th, in San Mateo County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcycle rider and a blue Acura TSX sedan collided due to unknown circumstances near the gore point on State Route 1 at the Serramonte off ramp.

Deputies from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the scene. The motorcyclist was treated for minor injuries, but it’s unknown if he or she was transported to a hospital.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 1.
