Motorcyclist Hurt in Daly City Car Accident on I-280
DALY CITY, Calif. (May 7, 2021) — A Daly City motorcycle crash happened Friday morning on the Interstate 280 Freeway.
The crash happened about 11:03 a.m. on May 7th near State Route Highway 1, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident on 280 Freeway
A red motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the collision. The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and paramedics with the San Francisco Fire Department transported the person to a hospital. The report did not identify the injured motorcycle rider.
Meanwhile, police closed off the roadway for an investigation into what led up to the Daly City motorcycle crash.
A tow truck removed the motorcycle from the scene, but it’s unknown if the other vehicle was drivable or not.
Additionally, the CHP is heading up an investigation into the collision to determine fault. It’s unknown at this time if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
