Fatal Motorcycle, Car Crash Caught on Surveillance Video

 BAKERSFIELD: Fatal Motorcycle Accident Union Ave and 17th Street (March 13) BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (March 15, 2019) – Damon Hill, 41, of Bakersfield, died following a collision between his motorcycle and a car Wednesday morning at Union Avenue and 17th Street.

The motorcyclist collided with a car whose driver made a U-turn in front of the bike at the intersection. The incident was caught on surveillance video captured from the Tire & Wheel Mart.

The motorcycle rider was ejected off the bike and thrown about 60 feet into the air before landing in the roadway.

The rider suffered major injuries and was hospitalized, but later died of his injuries at the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
