Dana Colson Fatal Highway 41 Pedestrian Accident
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (July 16, 2018) — Dana Colson, 27, died Sunday night in a crash on Highway 41 near Dinuba Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at 10:10 p.m. Ray Gomez Jr., 55, was reportedly traveling northbound on Highway 41 on a darkened street without street lights when his vehicle struck the woman.
The victim was also struck by several other vehicles following the initial collision. The drivers all stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
Witnesses or anyone else who may have struck the woman are asked to call 559-705-2200.

At this time, we do not know what caused this collision. We also do not know if faulty airbags, a dangerous condition or a mechanical failure caused this person’s death.
