Woman Accidentally Runs Over Man Sleeping Cleveland Ave Driveway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 10, 2018) – Daniel Arreola, 27, has been identified as the sleeping man who was run over and killed Friday morning by a car that was entering a Hillcrest parking garage, according to San Diego 10 News.
The collision took place about 4:30 a.m. in an apartment building parking structure in the 1200 block of Cleveland Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A woman driving a white Mercedes ran over the man who was asleep near the driveway as she was entering the parking structure. The victim’s body was lodged underneath her vehicle.
Police say the woman did not see the victim as she drove into the garage. A tow truck had to lift the vehicle off the man who died at the scene.
An investigation is underway to determine fault.

At this time, it’s unknown who is going to be held responsible for this fatality.
