Pedestrian Struck, Killed at San Bernardino Intersection
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (July 8, 2022) — Daniel Cardoza, 42, of San Bernardino, died in a pedestrian accident on the Fourth of July at North E Street and Virginia Street.
The deadly crash occurred about 9 p.m. on Monday, July 4th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The coroner report stated an automobile struck the pedestrian, but the circumstances leading up to the crash are unknown.
Deputies with the San Bernardino Police Department and paramedics responded to the intersection. They transported the injured man to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later died the following night about 9:13 p.m., the report said.
The pedestrian accident remains under investigation by the San Bernardino Police Department.
