Daniel Crayton, 31, Killed in Hesperia Crash on Highway 138 Wednesday
HESPERIA, CA (December 10, 2020) – A car crash killed Daniel Crayton along Highway 138 in Hesperia on Wednesday night.
The county coroner’s office determined that the 31-year-old San Bernardino man died following the accident which happened on December 9.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on Highway 138. According to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the wreck occurred just east of Summit Post Office Road.
Fatal Car Collision Near Summit Post Office Road
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded and pronounced one person, later identified as Daniel Crayton, dead at the scene.
The fatal incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. Meanwhile, CHP officers forced the road to shut down for more than two hours following the crash.
Deputies did not mention if any other party ended up injured after the accident. The cause of the tragic collision is still under investigation.
