Daniel Johns Fatal Pedestrian Accident Highway 259 in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (May 30, 2023) — Daniel Alan Johns, a 49-year-old resident of San Bernardino, died in a pedestrian accident

The traffic accident occurred around 9:13 p.m. on Saturday, May 27th, near the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers and paramedics responded to the scene and located the injured man in the roadway.

Sadly, despite efforts to save his life, he died at the scene at 9:28 p.m., police said.

The California Highway Patrol San Bernardino station is heading up the invstigation.
