Motorcyclist Killed in Collision at Trail E Road and Elizabeth Lake Road

LAKE HUGHES, Calif. (June 17, 2024) – Daniel Reinhardt, 41, died in a motorcycle accident Friday night at Trail E Road and Elizabeth Lake Road in the Lake Hughes are of the Antelope Valley.

A driver reportedly struck the motorcyclist in a crash around 11:07 p.m. on Friday, June 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol report and MyNewsLA.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision between the two motorists. However, upon impact, the motorcycle rider was thrown off the bike and an Edison pole was damaged by at least one of the vehicles.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded with paramedics and located the motorcyclist suffering from major blunt force trauma, but he unfortunately died on scene.

It’s unknown if there were any other people hurt in the crash.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident.
