Daniel Tofalla-Espinoza, 29, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Auburn Street

DATE OF ACCIDENT: Tuesday, February 19th
February 20, 2019 – The 29-year-old man killed Tuesday evening in a pedestrian accident on Auburn Street has been identified as Daniel Tofalla-Espinoza.
According to Bakersfield.com, Tofalla-Espinoza was riding a skateboard in the neighborhood when he was struck by a vehicle in the 4200 block of Auburn Street.

When officers arrived, they learned that a man was crossing the roadway outside of a crosswalk. The skateboarder, later identified as Tofalla-Espinoza, was reportedly taken to a hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead shortly after.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the motorist involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police as obliged by the law. Further investigation on the case is underway.
