1 Dead, 1 Injured in Rollover Crash on Amboy Road
BARSTOW, Calif. (August 6, 2018) — Daniel Valenzuela, 41, of Yucca Valley, died Sunday morning in a rollover collision on Amboy Road in Amboy, just east of Barstow, according to a report by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The crash took place about 7:10 a.m., roughly 14 miles south of US Route 66. The Yucca Valley man was outside of his vehicle when bystanders arrived at the scene to help those in the vehicle. Unfortunately he died at the scene of the collision. A female passenger in his vehicle was injured and transported to a local hospital.
The Barstow office of the California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

At this time, we do not know all the facts about this case. It’s unknown whether or not speed was a factor or if a dangerous road condition contributed to this accident. Police are piecing together evidence and speaking to any possible witnesses to determine fault.
