 Danielle Mesta, 33, Killed in Crash on Highway 41 in Madera County Four Killed in April 8 Crash on Highway 41 Identified

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (April 21, 2022) — Danielle Mesta, 33, and a 16-year-old girl, are among four killed in a head-on crash on Highway 41 in Madera County.

Edgar Garza Jr., 28; and Jovonie Gonzales, 30, were also killed in the April 8th collision, according to the Fresno Bee and the the Madera County Coroner’s Office.

The drivers of a black Honda Accord and a Scion tC were traveling in opposite directions. For unknown reasons, they collided in the fiery, head-on crash around midnight on State Route 41 in Madera County. The vehicles caught on fire and two people were trapped in each vehicle. It took two weeks for the coroner to identify the victims due to the fiery crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
