Authorities ID Pedestrian Killed on Hollywood (101) Freeway
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2021) — Danielle Yates, 32, died early Thursday in a pedestrian accident on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway.
The deadly crash took place about 2:12 a.m. on Sept. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver struck the woman on the freeway near Cahuenga Boulevard. Authorities closed down all lanes of the Hollywood (101) Freeway for several hours following the collision. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the pedestrian as Danielle Yates on their website.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown at this time what led up to the fatal Hollywood pedestrian accident. The driver of the vehicle involved stopped and is cooperating with investigators.
At this time there is no further information available.
Finally, the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
