Driver Dies After Vehicle Plows Into Hancock Park Home on South Rimpau Boulevard Thursday
Los Angeles, CA (June 11, 2021) – Danny Lazarnejad, a 20-year-old man, died following a car crash South Rimpau Boulevard in Hancock Park on June 10, Thursday.
The KTLA News reported Danny Lazarnejad was behind the wheel of a Mercedes traveling as a high rate of speed on 3rd Street. Officials said the man appeared to be racing with another motorist prior to the accident.
In the 200 block of South Rimpau Boulevard, Danny Lazarnejad lost control of the Mercedes. Subsequently, the car hit a curb and went airborne.
First responders found the Mercedes slammed into a tree by the garage of a home in Hancock Park. The force from the impact caused the vehicle to burst into flames. Shortly after 11:30 p.m., firefighters arrived at the site and worked extensively to extinguish the fire.

Authorities later confirmed Danny Lazarnejad died as a result of the collision.
No immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the alleged street racing. Further investigation on the case is underway.
