Dario Corona, 33, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Fresno
FRESNO (September 26, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Olive Avenue on Saturday, September 22, according to The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley.
Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 33-year-old Dario Corona, of Fresno.
As per the reports, officials said Corona was walking on the shoulder of Olive Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. The collision was believed to have occurred overnight, west of Polk Avenue.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash was reported just after 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver of the car involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The investigation is ongoing.
