Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Armory Road and Monterey Avenue
Barstow, CA (July 13, 2022) – Daryl Curtis Oliver, a 61-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Armory Road and Monterey Avenue.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported a vehicle struck a male party at the intersection in Barstow. Our sources indicated the catastrophic collision took place on July 9 at about 1:25 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a man lying in the roadway. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Officials later identified the deceased as Daryl Curtis Oliver, of Barstow.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident at Armory Road and Monterey Avenue.
