1 Killed, 1 Injured in Memorial Day Weekend Collision on Sycamore Road
Ventura, CA (June 1, 2021) – David Brown, a 39-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a car crash on Sycamore Road on May 30, Sunday.
The KVTA News reported David Brown, of Fillmore, was behind the wheel of a 2015 Nissan Armada. Officials mentioned the man was with one passenger at the time.
While heading west on Sycamore, the Nissan veered off the roadway and smashed into a wooden utility pole. The horrible crash took place near Barnard Road in Ventura County.

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after the incident. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to David Brown but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the article published online mentioned the 27-year-old male passenger in the Nissan sustained moderate injuries as a result of the incident. Paramedics rushed the patient to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
