Man Riding Scooter Killed in Riverside Car Accident
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (April 19, 2022) — David Ducoing, 48, of Riverside, died in a car crash while riding a scooter Monday night at Tyler Street and Wells Avenue in Riverside
The traffic accident occurred about 8:15 p.m. on April 18th, according to the Riverside Press Enterprise.
The 48-year-old man was struck by an SUV while riding a scooter at the Riverside intersection, police said.
David Ducoing was traveling eastbound on Wells Avenue when a 29-year-old driver in a 2015 Chevy Suburban struck him while heading southbound on Tyler Street.
The two vehicles collided as they both entered the intersection at the same time,” police said. However, police didn’t say which one had the right of way.
Meanwhile, David Ducoing suffered fatal injuries and died on scene. The SUV driver immediately stopped after the crash, but they were no injured.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
