LA PALMA, California (March 14, 2017)-A bicyclist identified as David Garcia, 52, of La Palma, was killed Monday night in a collision involving a vehicle on La Palma Avenue, just west of Moody Street in La Palma, according to the Orange County Sheriff Coroner.
The fatal crash took place about 10:43 p.m. last night.
Paramedics responded and transported Garcia to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange where he tragically later died of his injuries about 11:16 p.m. the same night.
The La Palma Police Department is heading up the investigation into liability for the person’s death and will issue a report with their findings.
