David Hamilton and Billy Traves Dead After Collision on Interstate 5 Near State Route 43 Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (June 23, 2021) – David Hamilton and Billy Traves suffered fatal injuries following a car crash on Interstate 5 Wednesday morning.
According to Bakersfield Now, the vehicle occupied by the two men overturned on I-5 Freeway near State Route 43. The horrible crash took place at about 11 a.m.
Our sources indicated the force from the impact ejected both the driver and passenger from the car. When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found 51-year-old David Victor James Hamilton; and 44-year-old Billy Shane Traves with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victims but they both succumbed to their injuries and died.

Preliminary investigation later revealed the wreck involved a second vehicle. Per local news source, a third person from the other car sustained major injuries from the incident.
Several factors surrounding the fatal car crash in Bakersfield remained under investigation.
